Yuppp!!! I have heard of LDR couples surviving even 10 years of LDR!! Gosh! LOL
LDR can survive and it has for so many people, including myself and Tango. Of course that is not to say that the couple won't ever meet in person, of course that must be in the goals of both in the relationship.
There are many couples wherein one partner must leave to work abroad or go elsewhere for a time (i.e. military service, etc..) and the partner left behind remains faithful even after the separation and distance till they meet again. Let's not forget that this is considered LDR too.
I believe LDR can survive. It really depends on the individuals who are willing to work and sacrifice to keep their relationship going. IMO LDR is like any other relationship except that you can't share a physical touch with your significant other. But then again LDR can teach a couple that there it more to a relationship other than physical gratification. It teaches them both the art of communication since most LDR couples relied on communication to understand one another.

eCho and I are LDR once again but so far we still survive... hope so
As long both couples are willing to work it out, sacrifice, remain faithful to one another despite the distance miles away...Yes Long distance relationship can possible to survive.
Yes it is very possible. Like in any other relationship, it has to be worked out by both parties. LDR isn't any different from them. Both partners need to work together at it. LDR couples must work harder than usual though. But s in all other relationships, the success depends on both partners.
